Congratulations to our 2003-2004 Student Council. All candidates must have a 70% average for their top 6 credits and be a full-time student.

The Executive Council meets once a week with various councils from around the school, in order to plan school activities, discuss concerns and work co-operatively for the good of the school. Drop by and give us your ideas, and we will keep you informed of our progress with monthly Student Council reports.

The Structure of the council is simple. It is made up of six school representatives who make up the Executive Council, and two students from each form, making up the General Council. The six school representatives are:

Please come up to us in the halls. We are at work to serve you, but first we have to get to know you. You can become more involved in the school by using your S.A.C. (Student Activity Card), from the Student Council. This card entitles you to numerous privileges... use your S.A.C. to join all the great clubs at Jackson, to participate on the school teams, T.T.C. Card purchases and to attend dances. A.Y. Jackson students must sign in guests for dance events. Get involved, and the Student Council will provide a year of fun and excitement! We look forward to speaking with you.

Remember... the Student Council is there for you - the student body. If we all come together and believe in Jackson, then we can truly make it a place of which you can be proud.
